Michael Kierans has been living in Prague for 12 and a half years and with his wife Dagmar has operated the Káva Káva Káva Café bars for the last 11 years. Michael speaks English, French and has learned to speak Czech. During his years in Prague he has tried all methods of learning Czech: large classes, small classes, on-line and one on one. He knows what it takes to learn a second language. Jazykava/Coffee Talk is his brain child. It is designed for people like him who are serious about learning a second language but who are too busy to devote three or four evenings a week to classes. Michael understands the importance of conversing in and actively using the new language as a means of learning that language.
